This Mac build is locally signed for development and has not been notarized by Apple. Public distribution with Developer ID and Apple notarization is still in preparation. Keep Gatekeeper enabled.

Get started on macOS

  1. Open the disk image.

    Open the Mac DMG and drag Fixo Flow into Applications.

  2. Allow the three permissions.

    Open Fixo Flow and allow Microphone, Accessibility and Input Monitoring in System Settings.

  3. Make it yours.

    Restart the app, configure hold-to-talk and hands-free shortcuts, then click a text field and speak.

Windows and Linux packages are early previews. Native UI checks do not replace microphone, keyboard, and insertion testing on physical devices. For older PCs, start with the two-thread CPU setting. Linux single-key shortcuts may also reach the foreground app; modifier combinations are recommended. Smaller downloads and lower RAM are separate goals; no accuracy or speed guarantee is implied.

Free for everyone to use. Downloads and update checks now come directly from fixoflow.tech.

Using 0.3.2 or earlier? Install this version manually once to switch to the new update service.

Start quietly when you sign in, choose separate hold-to-talk and hands-free shortcuts, and let Settings save automatically after a short pause.

Clear spoken sequences become numbered lists in Writing mode and Automatic messaging mode. Your personal dictionary guides name spellings and corrects exact recurring mistakes. Strict Verbatim preserves the recognizer's text.

This release focuses on English. Multilingual dictation is coming soon. No additional language models are bundled or downloaded for it.

Mac setup: from download
to your first words.

Fixo Flow is an experimental, locally signed app. The current build is not Apple notarized, so macOS may show a security notice.

    Open your download.

    Open the Mac DMG from Downloads, then drag Fixo Flow into Applications.

    Make yourself at home.

    Launch Fixo Flow from Applications. Review the Mac permissions below and allow them in System Settings.

    Say your first words.

    Restart Fixo Flow after granting permissions. Click a text field, hold your configured hold-to-talk shortcut, speak, and release. Configure a separate hands-free shortcut in Settings.

After allowing Input Monitoring, restart Fixo Flow so your shortcut can activate. If automatic pasting is unavailable, your transcript stays on the clipboard.
